Worst cases of revisionist history in MMA?
What cases of revisionist history have you heard that didn't match up with reality?
Mine would be:
- That homegrown Strikeforce (Cormier, Rockhold, Rousey) fighters were popular before coming to the UFC. Sure they were popular, but amongst hardcores. You would almost never hear any talk about them with casuals, even during the peak days of SF. The UFC hype machine made them known to people who would never would have otherwise. They became well known because of rivalries with UFC...
