Why do boxers have better legacy than MMA fighters?
If you ask the world the names of the boxers in the golden heavyweight generation (1950s - 1990s), they will tell you the names and their accomplishment but if you ask them if they could name MMA fighters from the early UFC/Pride days, no one can answer them except hardcore MMA fans.
