UFC Fighters Most Likely to be MGTOW?

Honestly, most UFC fighters are the indoctrinated, married / girlfriend with kid type, since they don't question how they were raised.

However, the latest figures show 1 in 10 males in the US are MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way), and that number is rapidly rising.

Statistically, it is quite likely that a handful of UFC fighters are part of the MGTOW movement.

Who's it most likely to be? For obvious reasons, MGTOWs don't broadcast their membership, and secret hand gestures or symbols have...

My first time on Sherdog when Conor has/had a fight

Even as a Conor fan, I now see what experienced Sherdoggers mean when they talk about this place when Conor has or just had a fight.

This forum becomes borderline retarded. Literally 50% on here is dominated by fucking idiots making a McGregor thread for every quote.

I just so happen to enjoy retardation. So on behalf of me and other people who feel this way I’d like to say thanks to all the morons for the entertainment.

*There was a time when yoo could argue if MMA was a sport or a show. Now it's crystal clear*

MMA is definitely a show. No way this is a sport. It's closer to the WWE than to a regular sport, where rankings are objective. It's all about money fights. And even the fighters can decide who will be their next opponent: just need a couple of tweets. ¿The belt? Yeah, it would turn you into an instant, natural money fight. That's why it's relevant.

McGregor Vs Cerrone? An almost retired fighter against a fighter that should retire. I can't care less. Hope it's a double KO.

Every major MMA org seems to be in some kind of decline including the UFC

OK get this out of the way but UFC is on ESPN and has millions of followers and and and forget it. Recently PFL, bellator, One and others have been letting go decent prospects and future talent by large numbers. UFC also has hinted big changes in 2020 without going into specifics such as what big changes? Yet you hear from a number of fighters complaining that they have been let go or put on suspension for long periods of time. From the face it seems that each is having some kind of growing...

MMA media needs to ask Conor McGregor about sexual assault investigations

As per bloody elbow:

The UFC has scheduled a pre-fight press conference for UFC 246. At that event – which takes place on Thursday, January 15th – the headlining fighters on the card, Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone will sit in front of what can only be assumed will be a plethora of MMA and mainstream reporters. And while the UFC can be criticized for many things, one thing the promotion has always been very good at during these pre-fight events is controlling the access media.

The UFC...

Is Sherdog Dying?

I'm lookin at these view counts for all these threads in the heavies and they seem pretty low

Is the interest in MMA dwindling these days now that humanity may be on the brink of war?

Or is return of Colin McGregor all it will take to restore this site to glory

The future of African MMA.

Move over Kamaru Usman, excuse me Israel Adesanya.

The future of African MMA, Reug Reug conquered the mma world.

Fedor and Jones, fighters of the last 2 decades, but what about GSP and Anderson?

It's safe to say Fedor was the fighter of the 2000-2009 decade as he was undefeated, was the #1 HW from 2003 onwards and was arguably the top P4P fighter during that time. Also, Jones was just getting started and GSP and Anderson both lost repeatedly during 1999-2009, including against low tier opponents (Serra, Takase, Chonan).

Now that Jon Jones has been named the fighter of the past decade, where does that leave legends like GSP and Anderson? Are they're still credible GOAT contenders...

A Brief History Of Karate In MMA

Cliff’s;

The First UFC event had a Kyokushin guy knocking out a Sumo wrestler.

Harold Howard continued the trend at UFC 3.

Despite this success it wasn’t until Lyoto Machida’s performances at UFC 94 to a degree and especially at UFC 98 that Karate gained mainstream acceptance as not bad boxing or Muay Thai that was better than nothing but a distinct style with unique strengths and weaknesses.

In the recent past you see guys like Vitor Belfort cross...

Ryan Bader is actually on one of the most ridiculous win streaks in MMA history

He's on an 8 fight win streak over Ilir Latifi, Little Nog, Phil Davis, King Mo, Mitrione, Kongo, and Fedor.

That's actually a ridiculous win streak. Wow. People laugh and I laugh because fucking Ryan Bader. But could he have actually turned into the best or one of the best fighters in the world since he left the UFC?

Aggressive fighters with good jabs.

Usually, when I think of a fighter with a good jab, I think of a tall, rangy fighter who prefers to box. But what about some short, aggressive fighters with good jabs?

Tyson and Duran are some.
