TJ Grant's last fight was 5 years ago as a 29 year old when he stopped Gray Maynard in the first round at UFC 160. This victory was his 5th straight win and earned himself a title shot against Ben Henderson. Unfortunately during training camp for the fight he suffered a concussion and after a few years of inactivity was forced to retire.

Who is the best counterstriker in MMA history?

There have been only a handful of great counterstrikers (especially counterpunchers) in MMA history, which is unfortunate but I believe that MMA still has some great talent that is regularly displayed, especially in the lower weight classes.

I believe it's Conor because of his incredible distance control and cobra-like movements from the waist which allow him to cover distance incredibly quickly and land counterpunches from odd angles that his opponents cannot anticipate....

I ve watched Joe Rogans YT channel and in one video he spoke with Schaub about his fight with Cro Cop.

Even tho he won that fight with KO, he admited that , that fight changed his life.

His face was smashed and he had many injuries so he became adicted to painkillers and had very hard and long recovery phase.

Just Bleed fighters you don’t like?

I am a mindless savage and love when things get bloody and barbaric.

But I got this thing when I think, Joe Lauzon, you suck and bring on your own punishment.

I respect his ground game and willingness to trade but the way he would just cover his face as a striking defense made me completely dismiss this Just Bleed Hall of Famer.

Gaethje does the same thing but he returns with KO intentions while J-Lo doesn’t really seem to bring the pain.

When I was in high school, i was a huge fan of Bruce Lee and read a few of the books written by him as well as the movies of course and though the idea could be argued to have been present, him being promoted to have any relation to MMAs development like Dana seemingly wants to promote it as feels like bullshit.

Also, nor Shooto of UFC wasnt first of anything. More than 2000 years ago, Greeks were already doing this.
